emdot When Golf Digest magazine asked some famous golfers to top ten golf course picks in the US, Donald Trump named the following courses, which should not be all that surprising: Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, Winged Foot, Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, New York, Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, Augusta National, Cypress Point, Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles, Oakmont, Trump National Golf Club in Philadelphia, and Pebble Beach.
In other golfing news, the Heritage Classic is being played this week without a title sponsor, and there is speculation that the PGA Tour will not return to Harbour Town Golf Links. The course, which was designed by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye, is one of a dying breed on Tour, because it rewards accuracy and shot-making over pure power swings.
